THE AGE, AUSTRALIA

Old Stock: A Refugee Love Story was nominated for six Drama Desk Awards (New York) including Outstanding Musical.

A humourously dark folk tale woven together with a high energy concert. This music-theatre hybrid, starring international Klezmer sensation Ben Caplan, is inspired by the true story of Hannah Moscovitch’s grandparents, who came to Canada in 1908.

Hannah Moscovitch wrote past SPARK hits What a Young Wife Ought to Know, Little One, and The Russian Play.
